Mountain House CA, is the newest city in California; its official incorporation took place on July 1st, 2024, making it the 483rd city in the US.  Although the first post office was established briefly from 1852 to 1853, the community itself wasn’t founded until 1996. It wasn’t until the early 2000s that its first homes were built. Today, Mountain House is one of the fastest-growing cities in the state.
